Launch of Knowledge Exchange guides (01/02/2012)
The two guides for policy makers: Guide to Successful Knowledge Exchange and Guide to Best Policy Practices, produced by the INNOPOLIS project are being launched in the UK with an event at the University of Salford . The event will bring together academics, policy makers and businesses, so that following on from the launch of the guides, the event will use an interactive methodology to stimulate discussion and draw out the key lessons for knowledge exchange policy & practice for the Greater Manchester region.
The Guide to Successful Knowledge Exchange details 20 successful KE practices from the INNOPOLIS partners together with success factors that place the practices into their regional context. The Guide to Best Policy Practices which contains examples of ‘Best Policy Practices’ from the INNOPOLIS partners together with examples from Asia, the US and Australia. These guides are the outcome of two years’ work by the INNOPOLIS project looking at regional policy to facilitate knowledge transfer between universities and enterprises.
The launch event will be held on 22nd February from 12.30 to 4.00 in Room 516, Maxwell Building, University of Salford. There will be a buffet lunch and networking from 12.30 and the event will start at 1.30.
